Tasty Foods was founded on its unique high quality sauce range and has developed into a leading supplier of ready meals, garlic breads, pies and fresh soups.

Tasty Foods was established in 1990 by Conor & Kathy Daykin to supply a range of Concentrated Sauces products to the local market, primarily servicing independent traders. Since then we have grown rapidly to become Northern Irelands leading Pie & Sauce brand. We service multiple supermarket groups across the whole of Ireland and more recently the UK. We operate in a modern fully accredited site, with level 6 grade A BRC.

Our current production facility, which opened in 2008 is a purpose built 10,000 square ft state of the art manufacturing facility, located in Dunmurry, on the outskirt of Belfast

We operate in a fully accredited site, with grade A BRC

INVESTMENT FOR GROWTH & JOBS

Tasty Foods Cuisine Ltd is in receipt of two SFA Capital Less than 250K grants from Invest NI. These projects are part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth & Jobs Programme 2014-2020.

The first grant is for a factory extension to include an external chill room, blast chill room and a rotary processor machine for pots also any building work around this. To enable us to produce and supply new sauce products, this would in turn grow our business in GB. This would give us more production and storage space, to enable us to produce and store the new product. Also the machine will be vital in order to produce the product as it will dispense the sauce into the container and put the lid on. This will improve our supply chain, improve efficiencies in order to assist us in growing the business within NI and in GB & ROI market. In addition to this the capital expenditure will reduce current revenue costs of rent.

The second grant will establish a new Product Development Kitchen. This project is aimed at increasing our capability to innovate and create new products and explore what meal offerings may be created that will support a low fat/high protein food intake.
